El Seguridad Privada

Esta es una foto de una seguridad privada. Yo pregunté que tomar una foto y él dijo que "sí." 30 minutos más tarde, caminó a mí y me dijo que viniera. Yo estaba nervioso porque tenía un arma de fuego, pero el dijo, "tomar una foto aquí".

Una Fantasma

Cuando mí y Robby vamos al aeropuerto de Salt Lake City, nosotros iban un poco nervioso. El avión fue poquito y yo no duermo mucho por este noche. Pero cuando nosotros llegó al aeropuerto de JFK en Nuevo York, nosotros ver la hermana de Rob. Es una experiencia muy muy loca. Yo creí ver una fantasma. Valerie estaba allí con su esposo Erik. Valerie, Erik, Rob y yo fuimos a un restaurante para desayunar. Erik y Valerie comieron  bistec y huevos, pero Rob y yo comimos café y té solamente porque estaba un poco enfermo. Después desayunaba Rob y yo fuimos a Santo Domingo, La Republica Dominicana. En Santo Domingo, Sheri y otras estudiantes estaban allí. Este noche, fuimos a la casa de mi madre Dominicana. Ella es muy simpática y me gusta mucha. Estoy muy animado por el futuro. Me gustan mucha los otros estudiantes. Yo creo que este lugar es muy bonito.

Great Expectations

To be honest with you, I have no idea what to expect out of this experience other than to have an amazing time and to learn some Spanish. I am actually very excited about living with a host family. I am sure it will create some issues, but also some really amazing situations I would never have otherwise been able to experience. I am also pretty excited to be fully submerged and immersed in not only this language, but this culture also. I have never been to the Caribbean before, so I am also looking forward to the beauty of the place as well. I love photography and I think this trip is going to give me an opportunity to create some fantastic images and meet some interesting people. I am extremely looking forward to this experience and am literally counting down the days at this point.
